Year Six are looking forward to their trip to Beamish tomorrow. Don't forget to bring a packed lunch, with plenty of drinks, waterproof coat, some spending money and sturdy shoes. The trip will include a tour of the attractions, Mrs Watkins wants a ride on the tram! and Mrs Snowball is looking forward to visiting the old fashion sweet shop!
Our Reception children will have their Christmas party on the afternoon of Thursday, 17th December.

Our Year Three and Four children will have their Christmas Party on the afternoon of Tuesday, 15th December.
Our Y4 children will perform their 'shindig' related to this half term's topic work on Friday, 11th December.

Our Nursery and Reception children will perform their Nativity on Wednesday, 9th December at 9.30am and 2pm in the school hall.
Our Year One and Two children will perform their Christmas Production on Tuesday, 8th December at 9.30am and 2pm in our school hall.
Our Christmas Fair will be held in our school hall on Friday, 4th December from 3.30 until 5.30.

The Scholastic Book Fair will be in school from Monday, 16th until Friday, 20th November.
Parents/Carers and children can visit the book fair after school each night & 60% of the money raised is spent on new books for school.
Anti-Bullying week 2009 begins Monday, 16th November until Friday, 20th November.
Throughout school the children will participate in a variety of activities related to this and we will end the week with a non-uniform day on Friday (free of charge), when we will wear 'blue' in support of anti-bullying.
Our Y6 Leavers' Assembly will take place in school on the evening of Tuesday, 14th July.
Our annual Gala Day in Dunston Park is scheduled for Saturday, 4th July.

Monday 8th June - Friday, 12th June is Multi-cultural week @ Dunston Hill.
Four of our Y5 pupils represented our school in a Lego Robotics Competition at Heworth CLC recently.
Our year three and four children will have their annual sports day on our lovely school field!
This will take place on the afternoon of Wednesday, 1st July.
All spectators welcome...let's keep our fingers crossed that the weather will not let us down.
On Tuesday, 16th June, Y3 will be visiting Beamish Open Air Museum.
This popular educational visit coincides with this term's topic ~ looking at Dunston & how things have changed over time.
Let's hope the weather is kind to us & we enjoy our well earned picnic on the grass!
