Monday 8th June - Friday, 12th June is Multi-cultural week @ Dunston Hill.
During this time, the children will be learning more about certain countries & enjoying a lot fun-filled activities...
Here is a taster of what the children will be getting up to...
Foundation Stage ~ Italy ~ Visiting Frankie & Benny's to make some mouth-watering pizza!
Year One ~ China ~ Lip Lee will be sharing his Origami skills with the children
Year Two ~ India ~ Mohua Kumar will be teaching Indian dance
Year Three ~ Spain ~ A Spanish teacher from Kingsmeadow will be giving the children a taster of the Spanish language & a Spanish dancer will also show how the children can move to the rhythm
Year Four ~ Africa ~ Experiencing African drumming, gumboot dancing & a range of African crafts
Year Five ~ Brazil ~ Meeting a Capoeira dancer
Year Six ~ Caribbean ~ Enjoying a selection of Caribbean Carnival Artists

i liked the multi cultural week with year 5s preformance in ours we lernt about spain and we lernt body parts in spain/ feet,pia, legs,rodias arms,armbrose head,kbasea

I liked the year 3s perfomance the best on multi cultural week because they had some props with them and some of the girls got some lovely spanish dresses on!
