The Nursery children have had great fun learning French words and tasting French foods.
Mrs Donaldson is leading a French session every Thursday with the children in the Nursery. During the sessions she is introducing the children to the French Language using songs, nursery rhymes and games.
Some of the everyday words the children are learning;
Hello/Good day—Bonjour
Thank you—Merci
Please—S’il vous Plait
Yes—Oui
No—Non
We started the sessions with a French 'Cafe'.
We had French bread, cheese, grapes and wine (really grape juice).
We had lots of fun!
